Contact owners: beachhouse941@aol.com (520) 749-1757 POWER As you will notice our community has no overhead utility poles keeping the views and community beautiful. During daylight the Villa's primary source of electrical needs is solar power, which also keeps the batteries fully charged. At night, those charged batteries power your evening requirements. If , during the day there was too much energy demand to also keep the batteries charged , the propane generator will come on to recharge the batteries. At night, the propane generator will also come on if the batteries fall below a fully charge state. As propane and generator operation is very expensive, the Villa was designed so the generator will operate infrequently during cooler months. That said, with energy conservation; such as limiting the use of hair dryers, curling irons, laptops, phone chargers , turning lights, fans, tv/radio off when not in use, will make for an enjoyable and carefree stay. The house electrical sockets are the same as in the US. KEEPING COOL Ceiling fans are installed in each room to add to your comfort during the warmer months. WATER Another precious commodity; is transported to the Villa. Bathing, toilet, and sink water is provided from an underground storage tank. You might see a water truck making a delivery by the front gate. PROPANE Our hot water and heat, and cooking is provided from the propane tank. Limiting shower length, and dressing warmly during cool weather will allow the propane supply to last several months. SEPTIC SYSTEM The septic and water systems were designed to accommodate six guests during your stay.
